报告人简介

       上海交通大学材料学院/氢科学中心教授、博导、欧盟玛丽∙居里学者。长期从事纳米生物医用材料研究,开辟了“纳米气体医学”研究方向,原创性发现了氢分子的靶点和氢分子生物学效应的根本机制,创制了全球首例氢分子生物探针,首次提出了氢热联合抗癌新疗法和氢分子重塑衰老微环境的概念。

        以第一作者和通讯作者在Science Advances、Nature Communications、Advanced Materials等国际顶级期刊发表SCI论文100多篇,入选“全球高被引科学家”(交叉学科领域)和具有终身影响力的“全球前2%顶尖科学家”。现兼任Medical Gas Research和Chemical Synthesis杂志副主编,担任国际氢分子生物医学会理事、中国老年保健医学研究会氢分子生物医学分会副主任委员等。

报告摘要

Hydrogen molecule has exhibited remarkable therapeutic effect against many inflammation-related diseases, and hydrogen therapy of cancer is receiving increasing attention since the inhalation of high pressure of hydrogen gas was discovered to be able to inhibit skin cancer in 1975. Hydrogen gas plays its cancer-selectivity and normal-protection effects by targeting impacted cells. However, hydrogen gas molecule is highly aimless diffusible around the body. How to realize the targeted delivery and site-specific accumulation of hydrogen molecule is vitally important to augment its effects, but is still challenging. By virtue of nanotechnology, we propose to develop novel hydrogen-releasing nanomaterials for targeted delivery and controlled release of hydrogen to enhance hydrogen therapy efficacy. Recently, we have proposed a concept of nano-catalytic gas medicine, and developed a series of novel biocompatible hydrogen-producing nanocatalysts to realize sustainable hydrogen therapy. A new horizon of hydrogen therapy is arising from nanocatalytic medicine.
